We sell thousands of these stands each year. They are robotically welded for consistent quality stand after stand. The powder coat paint finish is durable, and will last for many years. The stands are available in a flat black finish. This stand has two pointed 9-1/2" long spikes that push into the ground, and work best outdoors in sandy soil or soft dirt. Our TS-Spike Kit is not needed, and will not work with the TS-2 stand. These stands are manufactured from 10 gauge steel, and robotically welded in a fixture to maintain consistent quality. The pockets are designed to perfectly fit standard 1 X 2 furring strips found at any lumber yard, Lowe's, or Home Depot store. Simply mount two furring strips approx. 48" high into the pockets, and staple your cardboard or paper targets to the furring strips. You are ready to start shooting. This 18" wide stand fits popular cardboard targets like IDPA, IPSC, Classic, AP-1-CB, and NRA D-1, as well as many paper targets when using a cardboard backer at least 18" wide. This stand also accepts our TS-Adapter, which allows shooting of steel targets with the same target stand.
