Unless you go to the range for the sole purpose of loading magazines, you'll appreciate the convenience of this 450 round package of Federal 5.56 NATO cartridges. This ammo comes pre-loaded on 10 round stripper clips compatible with most popular magazine types for AR-15s including PMAG and USGI mags. Each case contains 5 packs of 90 rounds each.

This ammunition follows the M193 ball ammo standard and fires a 55 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of about 3,240 feet per second. Like other mil-spec ammo, it features a boat-tailed bullet for better wind resistance as well as non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases with visible annealing marks.
