If you're looking for inexpensive mil-spec ammo for your AR-15, this 1000-round case is your best bet. These cartridges follow the M193 ball standard used for military training, firing a 55 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,120 feet per second from a 24" barrel. Expect slightly lower velocities (but great performance nevertheless) from a 16" carbine or 20" rifle barrel.

PMC X-TAC ammunition is made by a top South Korean defense contractor and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass with visible annealing marks.
