This .38 Special ammo from CCI emulates the +P handling of many carry loads without the expense of a fancy hollow point. As such, it's the perfect choice for realistic training at the range. This ammo can be safely used in +P rated .38 Special revolvers as well as all .357 Magnum handguns.

Each cartridge in this box of 50 propels a heavy 158 grain total metal jacket (TMJ) bullet to a muzzle velocity of 850 feet per second. This results in above-average recoil, great accuracy, and flat trajectories. Total metal jacket rounds are a particularly good choice if you shoot indoors, as they are designed to inhibit the release of airborne lead when fired. A TMJ bullet's jacket fully encapsulates the core, preventing burning propellant from contacting it during the ignition process.

CCI Blazer ammo is made in Idaho using internally sourced non-corrosive Boxer primers and non-reloadable aluminum casings that are durable yet inexpensive.
