Blazer. It’s just not a semiformal jacket that you can wear to your daughter’s tuba recital. It’s also CCI’s line of budget-friendly ammunition that anyone can enjoy firing at the target range!

This 380 ACP cartridge is loaded with the tried and true 95 grain full metal jacket. That’s a solid point bullet which isn’t capable of terminal expansion, so it’s less than optimal for personal protection, although its lack of any steel or other ferrous metals means the bullet is 100 percent compliant at ranges which ban magnetic projectiles.

Blazer makes this ammo easier on the wallet thanks to their proprietary aluminum cases, which dramatically reduce the amount of expensive copper that is needed to make a cartridge. CCI perfected the process to heat-treat small aircraft grade aluminum components over 40 years ago, so you can bank on clean feeding and extraction.

Why do these cartridges have non-corrosive Berdan primers? Because their dual flash holes serve as an important added reminder that aluminum cases are not suitable for handloading. This is one and done ammo!
