As empowering as it might be, this ammo will not slap you with very much recoil energy. Its shot column is 1/8 of an ounce lighter than usual, and its muzzle velocity is a mild 1,200 fps. Its cushioned wad also helps to take the edge off the shell’s kick! You’ll still have a good reach while you’re busting clays, but you’ll also be able to shoot successive rounds more comfortably and have less muzzle rise to overcome while you’re giving a couple of clays the good old-fashioned one-two combo.

Low recoil isn’t appealing unless it precedes a tight pattern. Fiocchi takes care of that by producing uniformly spherical 0.095” #7.5 shot pellets, which are made of first-run chilled lead that is too hard to permit substantial deformation under the pressure of ignition. Round shot pellets fly in the tight pattern that smashes clay more effectively!
