Hornady has been manufacturing Critical Duty ammunition for law enforcement personnel since 2012. Designed to penetrate tough urban barriers like sheet metal, wallboard, plywood, heavy clothing and auto glass, Critical Duty rounds meet the barrier penetration needs police officers often experience in the line of duty.

This package contains 20 rounds of Hornady Critical Duty 357 Sig ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 135 grain FlexLock jacketed hollow point (JHP) projectile. The patented FlexLock bullet combines a polymer tip to prevent hollow point clogging and an interlock band to prevent jacket/core separation. The result is 100 percent weight retention, unmatched barrier penetration, and amazing terminal performance.

This new production ammunition is boxer primed. Featuring corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass casings, these cartridges provide smooth feeding and high visibility even in low light conditions.

Each round delivers a consistent muzzle velocity of 1225 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 450 foot pounds. These loads are ideal for both law enforcement and personal protection applications.
