You get 25 rounds of Hornady Critical Duty 9mm Luger (also referred to as 9x19mm parabellum) ammunition. Each round is loaded with a patented 135 grain FlexLock jacketed hollow point (JHP) projectile. The FlexLock design combines Hornady's patented Flex Tip with an interlocking band to prevent jacket/core separation for maximum weight retention. These rounds are engineered to initiate expansion while preventing clogging of the hollow point. The result is tough penetration and proven terminal performance.

The projectile core is made of a high-antimony lead alloy which leaves the muzzle at a velocity of 1110 feet per second with an energy of 369 foot pounds. Each round is loaded in a nickel-plated brass casing for smooth feeding and easy chamber checks in low light conditions. These rounds also feature low-flash powders for easier firing in dark self-defense situations.
