This standard pressure .38 Special ammunition from Hornady is a good defensive load for snub-nose revolvers or gun owners who need a low-recoiling option. Thanks to the high-penetration XTP bullet, these cartridges deliver strong terminal performance.

Each round in this box of 25 fires a heavy 158 grain XTP jacketed hollow point bullet at 800 feet per second. As with most .38 SPL loads, this ammo can be used in .357 Magnum revolvers and typically produces very low felt recoil in them.
