The generation 2 PMAG from Magpul is an excellent choice for anyone that owns an AR, SCAR-16s, Remington ACR, or any other rifle that accepts STANAG 4179 compliant magazines! Each magazine is constructed from a polymer body well known for its amazing durability and ability to function after being sandblasted, dropped from helicopters, and run over by heavy military trucks. The entire body is supported by a waffle-like ribbing pattern which also serves to give shooters a positive grip for easy manipulation and reloads.

The floorplate at the bottom of the magazine can be easily slipped off for parts replacement or dust removal. Inside the magazine is a stainless steel spring which elevates Magpul's own specially designed follower. The follower has four legs which prevent tilting; it is made of a self-lubricating material which ensures proper feeding for tens of thousands of rounds.
