This 600 round case of .38 Special ammo from Remington UMC is a highly cost-effective choice for training and defense if you own a .38 SPL revolver capable of handling +P pressures. These cartridges can also be used in any .357 Magnum revolver as a less expensive alternative to the costly, hard-recoiling magnum round.

Each cartridge in this case fires a 125 grain semi jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullet at 945 feet per second. Compared to other .38 Special ammunition, these cartridges fire a medium weight bullet at a relatively high muzzle velocity. While this increased velocity produces additional felt recoil and blast, it significantly improves the JHP's ability to expand reliably and stop an assailant quickly.

Remington UMC (Union Metallic Cartridge) ammo is loaded in Lonoke, Arkansas using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases. The UMC brand was established after the Civil War and, as the name suggests, was the first to offer modern cased ammunition commercially.
