Suitable for punching holes in both varmints and paper targets, this .223 Remington ammunition from Tula is an excellent choice for AR-15 enthusiasts. While certainly not the fanciest ammo around, it is inexpensive enough to shoot in high volume and delivers good accuracy in steady hands. Each case contains 500 cartridges.

These cartridges fire a heavy 62 grain jacketed hollow point bullet at 3,025 feet per second. This combination produces effective expansion that can take down rabbits, coyotes, and other small animals with ease. This load's external ballistics are comparable to those of M855 ball, making it easy to shoot both without much (if any) adjustment to your optics.

Tula ammo is made in Russia and uses non-corrosive primers. While not reloadable, the steel cases contribute significantly to this ammo's low cost and come with polymer coatings that enhance feeding and ejection reliability.
