Each cartridge in this case fires a 124 grain jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,330 feet per second. While not a "fancy" design, the hollow point does offer improved terminal ballistics over FMJ rounds and could be used for varmint hunting or defense if necessary.

Tula ammo is loaded in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases.
