It is a heavy and gritty pull, typically around 5lbs. The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/volquartsen.com\/inventory_configurations\/5198\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volquartsen Accurizing Kit<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a drop-in trigger parts kit that gives the gun a light, crisp 2.25lb trigger pull. It also eliminates the magazine disconnect. This drop-in kit comes with a disconnector, target hammer, hammer bushing, and target sear &#8212; basically the parts that control how the trigger pull feels. The kit is available with and without a trigger face. This means you can use the gun&#8217;s stock trigger, a trigger from the Accurizing Kit, or a different aftermarket trigger.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Tandemkross Victory Trigger<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit is available with a trigger, I decided to pass on it and instead use the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandemkross.com\/Victory-Trigger-for-Ruger%C2%AE-2245%E2%84%A2_p_197.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Victory Trigger<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Tandemkross. The Victory Trigger is flat-faced, making it similar to the 1911 style trigger that I would expect from the 22\/45 line of Mark IV pistols. It is textured for better control and is a skeletonized, lightweight design.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some shooters prefer the stock, curved trigger. Aftermarket grips can help you get a better grip on the gun. Which grips you go for are going to depend on whether you like finger grooves or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Finger Groove Suggestions<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you like finger grooves on your grip, the two best options to choose from are the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NG2G2A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hogue 79080 Ruger MKIV 22\/45 Rubber Grip<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3xego5u\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tandemkross hiveGrip<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Both have finger grooves and are textured for a better grip. If you\u2019re looking for the budget option, the Hogue grips are the way to go.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Non-Groove Options<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shooters who don\u2019t like the finger grooves but still want to upgrade the grips on the Mark IV 22\/45 Lite should check out the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandemkross.com\/hiveBrid-G10-Panel-Grips-for-Ruger%C2%AE-MKIV%E2%84%A2-2245%E2%84%A2_p_513.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tandemkross hiveBrid G10 Panel Grips<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This can be tricky when trying to quickly chamber a round or clear a malfunction. I\u2019ve found that my fingers easily slip off the bolt ears, especially when my hands are sweaty from shooting in the heat. Young shooters and any shooter with dexterity issues will likely have trouble manipulating the bolt. That\u2019s why the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandemkross.com\/halo-charging-ring-rugermkiii-mkiv-2245\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">halo Charging Ring<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Tandemkross is a necessity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The halo Charging Ring is a curved ring that attaches to the bolt ears. It gives the shooter the ability to pull the bolt with their finger, rather than grabbing on to the bolt ears. If you\u2019re not mounting a suppressor, then a compensator is a great addition to the gun. A compensator is a device that a shooter attaches to the barrel of their gun to redirect the gases released when shooting a round. The purpose of redirecting those gases is to reduce recoil and muzzle rise. The weight of the compensator also mitigates recoil. Even though guns chambered in .22LR typically have small amounts of muzzle rise, shooters want to reduce any bit they can when shooting quickly between targets, like in Steel Challenge matches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tandemkross offers the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandemkross.com\/Game-Changer-PRO-Compensator-for-22LR_p_433.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Game Changer PRO Compensator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for guns chambered in .22LR. The only issue with this is that the rail adds a good bit of height to the optic which can detrimentally affect a shooter\u2019s accuracy. An aftermarket optic mount can reduce that height, putting the optic closer to the barrel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3O5P1Br\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cShadow\u201d Mount V2.0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Tandemkross replaces the Mark IV\u2019s picatinny rail and is compatible with over ten popular red dots. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another option is the Allchin Gun Parts <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/allchingunparts.com\/ruger-mk-micro-mount\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ruger MK Micro Mount<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
