This 7.62x39 round by Wolf features a 122 grain projectile, the same bullet weight that the original Soviet M43 cartridge offered. The bullet’s full metal jacket will preserve your AK-47’s bore from rapidly fouling with lead residue, preserving its accuracy so that you can enjoy an extended session of target practice without having to bother with a cleaning rod. This bullet type further facilitates functioning in a semi-automatic weapon, and assures penetration through a wide variety of targets.

As is befitting of a Russian caliber, this round features a steel casing. It’s not fit for handloading, but its low cost more than makes up for that shortcoming. This round’s Berdan primer is non-corrosive, because even though an AK is rugged it still deserves to be treated well. Although their ammunition is produced in Russia and other nearby countries, Wolf is an American company -- their products are known for their excellent quality given their very attractive price tags.
