The world was asking for plastic-free 12 Gauge hunting ammunition. BioAmmo answered the call! This shell is perfect for taking pheasant and turkey in environments you would much rather keep pristine.

BioAmmo loads this shotshell with their patented biopolymer wad and tube. These components are every bit as sturdy and reliable as traditional plastic ones, yet they are only made out of vegetables. Whether they land on the ground or plunge into the water, it will only take microbes and fungi just a couple of years to reduce them to non-toxic salt and carbon dioxide gas. The wads are even brown so they can remain unobtrusive during the bio-composting process.

BioAmmo’s wads also feature collapsible bases to lessen felt recoil, as well as large vents which enable them to extend petals as they exit the muzzle. These alongside such hard and uniformly spherical #5 shot pellets promote highly efficient patterns, and BioAmmo’s carefully loaded explosive components guarantee even more reliable ballistics still.

BioAmmo shotshells store safely for at least five years. Their hulls are not suitable for handloading.
