This is high-velocity 22 LR ammo. That doesn’t just mean its 38 grain bullet flies flat and hits hard. It also means this ammo generates the requisite chamber pressure to cycle semi-autos like the Glock 44, Ruger 10/22 or AR-22.

We bill this as target-shooting ammo because it’s loaded with lead round nose projectiles. They aren’t going to expand inside soft tissue like a hollow point bullet could have, although the round nose profile does transfer respectable energy on impact. Blazer’s uniform LRN bullets certainly deliver consistent accuracy, especially after achieving a muzzle velocity of 1,235 fps out of a rifle!

As a subsidiary of CCI, Blazer loads the same sensitive rimfire primers which make Mini-Mag and Maxi-Mag so popular at the range. Non-corrosive primers and clean-burning powder add up to promote longer sustained accuracy and less of a mess to contend with back at home.
