This cartridge is loaded with the one, the only, the elemental 40 grain LRN. Despite its average bullet weight, this round still delivers the high muzzle velocity you need for long-distance accuracy – not to mention the amount of chamber pressure required to reliably cycle a semi-automatic. Don’t count on the LRN to mushroom during penetration (though it may deform a bit). It’s a budget-friendly, accuracy-first kind of projectile, yet it still packs enough punch to reliably put down lightweight varmints.

A Champion round is loaded with Federal’s usual high-quality brass and primers, as well as the clean-burning propellant which cuts down on residue accumulation. Expect solid, dependable performance out of any manufacturer’s firearm you could name!
