Safety always comes first when shooting and no amount of adherence to the four rules of gun safety can save your eyes from a random berm ricochet or some drops of oil flung from your firearm's action. These ballistic glasses from Champion are meant to protect your eyes from threats you can't see coming during practice, training, and matches.

Champion ballistic glasses are not only rated to ANSI Z87.1 specification (the same used by industrial and military workers) but also have a light tune and coating to protect from UV rays while sharpening the perceived image. These clear lenses are great for indoor shooting or outdoor ranges on a cloudy day where low light may obscure, shadow, or hide some targets. The nose piece of the glasses has two flanges for comfort while the j-hook style of the frame provides a secure fit.

The glasses feature a slightly slanted top profile for use in combination with ball caps and helmets without having the lenses pressed back into the user's face. The bottom of the lenses are open and allow dirt and dust to be easily wiped away instead of trapped by the frame.
