This round’s 175 grain open tip match projectile isn’t good for punching holes into deer. It can’t follow up impact with terminal expansion, as its hollow point nose cavity is not designed for that purpose. It exists because the OTM’s concentric and attenuated copper jacket is formed first and then injected full of molten lead – the reason why its solid lead core is so uniform and well balanced.
