This cartridge’s bullet is an open tip match of Federal Premium’s own design. The 175 grain CenterStrike OTM features the uniformly thin copper jacket, balanced lead core, and streamlined profile it needs to exhibit a surprisingly consistent trajectory. The OTM’s inability to undergo terminal expansion does make it a poor choice for hunting, but its 0.505 G1 ballistic coefficient is undeniably excellent.
