Federal optimized this 9mm cartridge to best complement the performance of a carbine -- its muzzle velocity, accuracy, and bullet’s flat nose profile will all serve you well if you load it into a Kel-Tec Sub 2000, Hi-Point 995 TS, or futuristic looking Beretta Cx4 Storm.

What’s most exciting about this 9mm round is its 130 grain projectile’s Total Synthetic Jacket (TSJ). The polymer TSJ prevents any metal from touching your firearm’s bore, which not only does away with copper and lead fouling but further lengthens the barrel’s lifespan. The TSJ additionally nearly puts a stop to hazardous splash-back, which in conjunction with its bullet’s flat nose profile makes this round a marvelous choice for showing steel targets who’s boss.

This round is equipped with Federal’s Catalyst primer, which works great with modern propellant and burns exceptionally hot to deliver reliable ignition. The Catalyst is also lead-free, which along with a total jacketed bullet means you’ll be far better off firing this round indoors where ventilation is often inadequate.
