This cartridge’s 125 grain bullet is no ordinary jacketed hollow point. It is the eXtreme Terminal Performance. The bullet lives up to its name thanks to its jacket, which (A) shields the nose cavity’s rim so as to prevent damage that could have hampered terminal expansion, (B) wears a full-length taper that weakens the rim, and (C) sports symmetrical serrations that strategically weaken the rim even further. The XTP needs relatively little force to dish out broad expansion – and thanks to its uniformly distributed swaged lead core and nigh-perfect jacket concentricity, it precedes its terminal ballistics with outstanding accuracy!
