This 300 AAC Blackout ammo by Hornady, right here? It’s 100% designed for accuracy. It’s not the sort of accuracy that you’ll want to use for deer hunting, seeing as how Hornady’s ELD Match isn’t built for terminal expansion. But when you’re just trying to march bullets through a single hole in the center of a bullseye, this ammo is your best friend.

This round is loaded with a 208 grain bullet. It is heavy, which is why it won’t exit a 16” barrel at supersonic velocity. But that’s good as far as accuracy is concerned. It means the bullet won’t wobble and spin off course as a result of transonic destabilization.

The ELD Match features a low-drag polymer tip, secant ogive profile and boat tail; all features which decrease in-flight drag. The ELD Match is also equipped with a concentric AMP jacket, as well as a swaged lead core; both features which enhance rotational stability. It all comes together to give you a round with a lofty 0.648 G1 ballistic coefficient.
