Each cartridge in this box fires a light 110 grain Hornady Flex Tip (FTX) bullet at a high muzzle velocity of 1,090 feet per second. The Flex Tip delivers reliable expansion and features a soft polymer tip designed to prevent debris from clogging up the petals and impeding terminal performance.

Hornady ammo is loaded in Grand Island, Nebraska using non-corrosive primers. The Critical Defense series uses durable, reloadable brass cases.
