This round’s projectile has a polymer tip. More specifically, it has a Flex Tip that is too soft to strike the primer it touches in the magazine. An InterLock ring embeds the FTX’s heavy jacket within its one-piece high-antimony lead core. That makes the bullet exceedingly durable, and accordingly able to plow deeply through muscle. The supple Flex Tip compresses within the FTX’s concealed nose cavity during penetration to prompt broad terminal expansion. Alongside the FTX’s commanding downrange energy, that ensures the quarry will instantly go down for the count!
