Don't be fooled by the plain packaging--this excess production mil-spec load from Federal's Lake City Army Ammunition Plant is some of the best 7.62 NATO ammo around. These rounds follow the M118 specification used by military snipers and deliver match-grade accuracy.

Each cartridge in this 20-round box fires a 175 grain open-tipped match bullet at 2,580 feet per second. The heavy bullet sacrifices a bit of velocity for enhanced stability, an important advantage at long range.

This ammo is made in Independence, Missouri and uses non-corrosive primers and brass cases with visible annealing marks. M118 ammo features low-flash propellants that are ballistically insensitive to changes in temperature. As a result, the cartridge can be fired in hot or cold environments with minimal effect on accuracy.
