This cartridge is loaded with a 180 grain soft point projectile. PPU’s rifle bullets are steel-free (with obvious exceptions, like M855 and M33), so you can take this ammo to ranges which prohibit magnetic projectiles. The heavyweight soft point’s streamlined profile, concentric jacket and balanced weight distribution all contribute to its 0.407 G1 BC, which means you can expect a satisfactorily flat trajectory that boasts good wind resistance, and also punch a 500-yard target with just over 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy.
