This reliable Tula ammunition is a staple range load for many owners of AR-15s and other .223 Remington rifles due to its low cost. These particular cartridges fire hollow point bullets, making them suitable for small game and varmint hunting as well as target shooting.

Each cartridge in this box of 20 propels a 62 grain JHP to a muzzle velocity of 3,025 fps, resulting in external ballistics essentially identical to military M855 ball.

Tula ammo is made in Russia and uses non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases with polymer coatings to enhance cycling in semiautomatic rifles.
