This round has one of the sniper’s best friends – the MatchKing, by Sierra. As a hollow point boat tail it features a very narrow tip, with an aperture that proves the core hardened in place to conform perfectly to the contours of the jacket. Its base also ends in an angle, thus limiting how much drag the bullet incurs in flight.

The MatchKing’s jacket is concentric to a virtually perfect degree. Every bullet in this box of ammo weighs 175 grains, with a maximum variation of +/-0.3 grains. In effect you can look forward to not only incredible accuracy, but also highly reliable ballistic performance. What’s good for the sniper is good for the master of the rifle range.
