This .223 Remington ammunition from Fiocchi is an excellent range load for AR-15s and other .223/5.56 NATO rifles. These cartridges come in boxes of 50 (with 20 boxes in each 1,000 round case) and fire a 62 grain boat tailed full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet per second. This makes them similar to M855 ball in external ballistics.

These rounds also have the visible annealing of M855 ball, although they lack the mil-spec round's distinctive green tip. They are loaded at Fiocchi of America in Ozark, Missouri using non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
