Hornady's XTP jacketed hollow point bullets are perfect for reloading self-defense rounds. Reloading ammo offers a huge savings, especially when reloading with high end bullets like these Hornady JHP's. XTP bullets are made for self-defense, and excel in that application. These rounds have very consistent and reliable expansion and accuracy. For these same reasons, this bullet also makes for a good hunting round, but should be used only within a range of about 100 yards.

This round can be loaded in both 38 special and 357 magnum ammo. You should also use reloading guides whenever reloading ammunition, to ensure that proper powder loads are used to get the correct pressures.
