Excellent ammo best I ever shot thru compact 9 mm. Is he recoil is low and makes it very good for follow up shots!! It is just too expensive!! The price point for this ammo should be less than $19 a box then it would be a perfect value!

Tumbles out of 4.25" bbl

Have shot several thousand rounds through a Beretta 92 Centurion with a 4.25" 1:10 barrel. MOST of the time, it functions perfectly. However, I get key holing of at least 1 or 2 rounds, sometimes more, out of every 50 round box. Swapping to a different factory barrel makes no difference. Like how softly it recoils, but unfortunately can't count on it for competition other than local matches. Not sure if it's an ammo issue, or gun problem, but there have been other reports of this ammo tumbling out of other guns. Federal claims to test velocities out of a 4" barrel, so barrel length shouldn't be an issue.

Quality Competition Ammo for Average Person

I've been shooting the Syntech Action Pistol 9mm 150gr TSJ ammo in a Sig Sauer P320 X-Five in production class for six months now and I like it much more than the other brands I've used. I was shooting 124gr and 147gr Magtech, Armscor, and Blazer. The Syntech is much softer shooting and it shoots a 130 power factor. I keep my guns clean, so I haven't noticed whether the bore is easier to clean. The receiver is always dirty after a match or two. The flat nose bullet shape makes it easier to see the holes in the target which helps during a match to know if you need to shoot a makeup shot. The price is reasonable, but not as low as I'd like so I rated the value at a 4 of 5. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent overall

The ammo is a bit pricey but well worth it. It works great on steel targets and I have had no misfires so far in about 250 rounds.

Good Ammo

I started shooting Syntech 150 grain earlier this year 2000 rounds so far and find the recoil to be less than other 143Gr ammo I have used. My guns run a little cleaner too.
