Hornady Critical Duty 357 Magnum Ammunition - 25 Rounds of 135 Grain FTX

This package contains 25 rounds of Hornady Critical Duty 357 Magnum ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 135 grain FTX jacketed hollow point projectile. This is boxer primed, new production ammo loaded in non-corrosive nickel-plated brass casings.

Each round produces a muzzle velocity of 1275 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 487 foot pounds.

Hornady introduced its Critical Duty line of ammunition in 2012. Designed with the specific needs of law enforcement in mind, these rounds achieve excellent performance on stringent FBI barrier tests. Ideally suited for law enforcement and personal protection applications, Hornady Critical Duty rounds deliver incredible terminal performance, effectively penetrating tough urban barriers including plywood, sheet metal, wallboard, and thick clothing.

Thespecial FTX jacketed hollow point features Hornady's patented polymer Flex Tip. The Flex Tip initiates reliable expansion and prevents clogging of the hollow point as it passes through the target. Critical Duty projectiles also incorporate a unique interlock band designed to prevent separation of the jacket and core. The result is excellent weight retention for powerful threat-stopping penetration.
