This cartridge’s lustrous, low-friction nickel-plated brass case seats the target shooter’s old standby: the 158 grain lead round nose. Whether it’s a 38 Special or a 357 Magnum, your revolver will generate relatively little recoil as it lobs the slow-moving, unsophisticated LRN out of its barrel.

The LRN doesn’t have any copper to mitigate barrel fouling, but that’s a pro when you take an all-lead bullet’s lower manufacturing cost into account. Solid lead bullets also pose a lower risk of splash-back while you’re giving steel targets a good working over. Gotta protect that precious face of yours!
