This cartridge owes its subsonic muzzle velocity not to a weak propellant charge, but to its heavy 220 grain bullet. It just can’t accelerate fast enough to break the sound barrier, which translates to a softer report even if you’re not using a suppressor.

An open tip bullet is not designed for terminal expansion. Liquid lead was poured through the opening in its nose to create a form-fitted core, thus assuring superior rotational stability. Its flat base guarantees more uniform propulsion while the bullet is rocketing down the barrel, which in turn promotes greater overall accuracy.

This range and target ammunition sports reloadable brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers. Its clean-burning powder complements its bullets’ fully jacketed bases to provide cleaner performance.
