This training ammunition comes all the way from the Czech Republic in Europe, and it is not at all like the stuff that’s made 2,000 miles away in Russia. Each cartridge’s full metal jacket boat tail projectile consists of a lead core, brass jacket, and no magnetic steel. Sellier & Bellot draws jackets concentrically enough to ensure good rotational stability, and their lead cores are similarly well-balanced. This FMJBT’s pointed nose profile minimizes air resistance while its boat tail reduces drag. You’re looking at a round with a 0.247 G7 ballistic coefficient that should continue exhibiting a flat and wind resilient trajectory several hundred yards out.

Sellier & Bellot mints their ammo’s brass cases in-house. When you see the “S & B” headstamp on a case, you know you have a smooth-cycling and reloadable cartridge. This is new production ammo, with non-corrosive Boxer primers and very low-fouling propellant.
