Sellier & Bellot’s 6.5 Creedmoor ammo came all the way from the Czech Republic with a simple mission: to give you the firepower you need to shoot long-range targets without turning your wallet inside out in the process.

This round’s 140 grain full metal jacket projectile won’t do anything fancier to soft tissue than penetrate it. It can’t expand, so it’s the less effective and ethical choice for taking medium game. The FMJ does deliver sound accuracy, however, thanks in no small part to its drag-reducing boat tail.

Sellier & Bellot recorded this round’s 2,658 fps muzzle velocity with a 21.75” barrel. At that rate the bullet’s 0.491 G1 ballistic coefficient (G7 0.247) assures supersonic velocity until approximately 1,125 yards. If you’re keeping it reasonable and aiming to 500 yards, you can anticipate a trajectory that climaxes at about 22.4” (not taking height sight into consideration).
