This round’s bullet is a soft point, with an exposed lead core and rigid brass jacket that doubly kill medium game via wide expansion and deep penetration. The 140 grain projectile’s 2,658 fps muzzle velocity was recorded with a 21.75” test barrel. The SP’s sleek profile and balanced weight distribution both contribute to its 0.417 G1/0.210 G7 ballistic coefficient.

According to the manufacturer, zeroing in at 100 yards produces -3.8” drop at 200 yards, -14.6” drop at 300, and -33.7” drop at 400. Not the flattest trajectory a 6.5 CM round could conceivably exhibit, but plenty practical if you’ve got a halfway decent idea of what you’re doing.
