Each round is loaded with a 147 grain, bonded core, jacketed hollow point (JHP) projectile. Special Gold Dot engineering bonds the jacket to the core one molecule at a time, virtually eliminating separation. The result is excellent weight retention and impressive projectile expansion.

This is new production, non corrosive, boxer primed ammunition. Casings are nickel-plated brass to facilitate smooth feeding and reliable function. Each round delivers a muzzle velocity of 950 feet per second and a muzzle 326 foot pounds of threat-stopping power. Although this ammunition was developed with law enforcement in mind, it is also a popular choice for civilian use, providing powerful performance for personal protection and home defense.
