You’ve got your 55 grain full metal jacket projectiles, which can’t attract a magnet, can’t expand after impact, and can’t do you wrong whenever you’re moving at inanimate objects: targets, bottles, cans, and whatever else you like to sharpen your aim on.

Whether you have a 223 Rem rifle or – *gasp* – one of those 5.56x45 AR-pattern rifles, it ought to cycle Winchester’s military-quality brass cases just fine. Some folks mistake the cases’ grayish discoloration as evidence that they have been previously fired and reloaded. Not so! They’re new as new can be.
