This round is beset with a 145 grain projectile. It is just five grains lighter than Winchester’s Deer Season XP load, and its muzzle velocity is only 25 fps faster. That gives you pretty similar ballistic performance to the popular line of hunting ammo. The bullet itself is the target shooter’s preferred full metal jacket, which delivers low barrel fouling, consistent accuracy, and zero terminal expansion after colliding with its target. Bad for deer hunting, but certainly acceptable for varmints.

Winchester’s gleaming brass cases cycle without issue and are good for handloading. This clean-shooting American-made ammo is ready for action in your single-shot, bolt-action or semi-auto of choice!
