CCI Blazer ammo is a great choice for high volume shooters thanks to its low cost and reliable performance. These .45 ACP cartridges fire a heavy 230 grain bullet at 845 feet per second and deliver typical .45 Auto ballistics.

Blazer ammunition achieves significant cost savings through the use of non-reloadable aluminum cases and copper-plated bullets. In addition to being less expensive to produce than conventional FMJ rounds, copper-plated bullets provide full encapsulation of the projectile's lead core; this reduces lead exposure, particularly when shooting indoors. However, plated bullets should not be fired in guns with ported barrels due to shearing issues.

These cartridges use CCI's own non-corrosive Boxer primers, which are known for their reliability.
