Blazer is one of Vista Outdoor’s many better known brands, and shares company with other prestigious names like Federal, Speer, and CCI. As such they’ve a lot of quality to offer, as is evident throughout this 9mm cartridge. Although Blazer is better known for their aluminum cased ammo, which is excellent for its low cost and light weight, this 9mm round’s brass casing represents tremendous opportunity for the savvy handloader. It’s fitted with CCI’s sensitive Boxer primer, and is sturdy enough to withstand being fired multiple times.

This cartridge has been bestowed with a 147 grain full metal jacket projectile. The bullet is remarkable because its base is protected -- because hot propellant gasses can not affect its core, the lead in it will not evaporate when it is fired. If you plan to train extensively at an indoor range where air circulation isn’t optimal, it would benefit your health greatly to fire a round like this one.
