Brass is pretty much the perfect metal for making shell casings. But brass is also an alloy made with two-thirds copper, which means it’s nowhere near as inexpensive to manufacture as steel.

Do you know which metal is as inexpensive to manufacture as steel? That’s right: steel. For this simple reason, Magtech’s Steel label 9mm ammo is going have a gentler effect on your pocketbook.

A steel case’s chief drawback is its rigidity. It cannot return to its original dimensions following ignition. As such, it is not reloadable. But a steel case does boast enhanced resistance to corrosion when it is armored with zinc plating, and it delivers reliably clean performance when it is loaded with Magtech’s noncorrosive primer and low-residue propellant.

This ammo’s bullets do not contain steel, so there’s no need to worry about whether they can attract a magnet. Each full metal jacket features a hard copper-alloy coating that helps it feed correctly, as well as a 115 grain weight which grants it a supersonic muzzle velocity when it’s fired through a 4” barrel. Magtech makes these range champs at their state-of-the-art production facility in Brazil.
