Take note! This is 38 Super ammunition – not 38 Special. It will do you absolutely zero good if you’re looking for ammo for a 38 Special or 357 Magnum firearm. (Sorry if you already knew that, but it breaks our little hearts whenever a newbie orders the wrong type of ammo.)

The 38 Super is super popular among the IPSC crowd. You may need a whole lot of ammo so you can train for an upcoming event – or you may just appreciate the 38 Super for its own merits and want to casually fire it in your free time. Either way, you’ll be pleased by PMC!

This cartridge is loaded with a 130 grain projectile (the most popular bullet weight for the 38 Super). As a full metal jacket, it’s not exactly your ideal choice for personal protection, although that isn’t to say a capable marksman couldn’t immediately halt a determined threat’s advance with an FMJ. The FMJ’s lead core and copper-alloy jacket are both nonmagnetic, so fire it at any dang range regardless of its policy on magnetic ammunition.
