This .38 Special training ammo is designed to produce the same handling (including external ballistics and recoil) as its more expensive defensive counterpart. Buy this 500 round case to train and get a smaller quantity of hollow points to defend.

Each cartridge in this case of 500 fires a medium weight 130 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 900 feet per second. Train & Defend ammo generates somewhat less recoil than most defensive .38 SPL rounds and works well in snubnose revolvers.

Winchester ammo is loaded in Oxford, Mississippi using non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
