This 9mm cartridge by Remington is crowned with a 115 grain projectile. That’s a popular bullet weight for its caliber, as its light weight causes practically negligible muzzle flip, suiting it well for self-defense where rapid follow-up shots count for everything. This isn’t a self-defense round, of course, but training with it will give you useful experience you can implement when your back is against the wall. The bullet’s full metal jacket reduces bore fouling, and along with its rounded nose promotes seamless feeding semi-automatic and revolver alike.

This round was made by Remington for soldiers and police officers to train with -- but they made too much. They’re clever people, though, so they figured they’d turn around and sell it to people like us. This round has all the trademarks of a Remington you’d find on a store shelf, and comes complete with a reloadable brass casing, clean burning propellant, and non-corrosive Boxer primer.
