This round conquers medium game and threats to your life with the power of its 240 grain bullet. The JSP has a flat nose profile, which means it is safe to load in a lever-action rifle. Its flat profile also means that the bullet will punch a clean hole through a paper or cardboard target; alternatively, it will create a large entry wound should it connect with soft tissue. The JSP is not a hollow point (which is noteworthy if you live in a jurisdiction that restricts the use of hollow points). Still, its exposed lead core does supply the rapid terminal deformation which inflicts accented damage to soft tissues. The bullet is also nonmagnetic thanks to its solid lead core and copper-alloy jacket.
