Each round in this case fires a medium weight 130 grain full metal jacket bullet at a relatively high muzzle velocity of 890 feet per second.

Tula ammunition is loaded in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases. Note that the steel cases have magnetic properties and may not be suitable for all indoor ranges.
